Gainor kids rock Chicago with awesome deserts!

There is something to be said for following a good set of directions. Here is a spread of deserts tasty enough to inspire the envy of a French chef--and they were made by a quartet of brothers and sisters with a total combined age of only 26 who simply... well, followed the directions. A nine-year-old made the pumpkin roll, a duo four and five-year-old made the baklava, and a seven-year-0ld made the apple-pecan pie (I bought the ice-cream and supervised the kitchen--and ate the creations with their happy parents!).
